Fever, Rash, and Joint Pain—Just an Infection?

Systemic Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (SJIA) is primarily considered an autoinflammatory disease, especially in the initial phase. The classic symptoms at the onset of the disease are fever, rash, and arthritis. The transition to chronic destructive polyarthritis is feared. Early diagnosis and initiation of therapy are crucial. Diagnosis and current therapy strategies are explained using a case report.
