A Seriously Ill 15-Year-Old Girl—A Few Weeks After a Covid-19 Infection, the Fever Rises Again
摘要
The occurrence of a disease pattern with multisystemic events and severe inflammation, associated with eye, skin, musculoskeletal and other specific organ symptoms—sometimes similar to Kawasaki syndrome—a few weeks after a Covid-19 infection was first described at the beginning of the pandemic in 2020. Presented is a patient with the classic clinical picture and course of a PIMS—a disease pattern which is still unclear. Current therapy recommendations for this are also presented.
