First Weeks of Joint Pain, Then a Severe Rash

The systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a complex systemic autoimmune disease. Despite significant research advances in recent years, the pathophysiology is not fully understood. The clinic and the course are very variable. Any organ can be affected and it can lead to severe organ damage. The diagnosis and therapy of SLE disease in the narrower sense are explained using two case reports.
