A Tired Toddler Who Wants to be Carried, and a Teenage Athlete with a Swollen Knee

  • Christiane Reiser

摘要

In this chapter, we would like to present two very different pediatric patients with joint inflammation. The first patient is a toddler. Due to a gait disorder, she is initially presented in neuropediatrics before being referred to pediatric rheumatology. The adolescent, sporty-active patient has been complaining for months about a painful and swollen knee joint and is initially referred to trauma surgery before he also receives a pediatric rheumatology diagnosis.
