Relations to Turkish Sunni Muslims and Alevis

The discussion in this chapter is about ʿAlawi youth’s personal experiences with their Turkish Sunni and Alevi acquaintances and friends. In polyethnic German society, ʿAlawi youths frequently interact with members of these communities. The fact that Turkey is their common country of origin might initially bring them closer.
