Presentation of System 3: The Concept of Collective Intelligence

In this chapter, we will introduce in detail the concept of collective intelligence, which we call System 3. We will explain the definition of System 3, highlight its specificities and differences from other forms of intelligence and present the main theoretical foundations and frameworks. In addition, the chapter will show how System 3 can be used in different fields and industries and what benefits it can bring to knowledge workers, managers and companies. The aim of the chapter is to provide a comprehensive understanding of collective intelligence as a tool to address the challenges of the digital transformation.
