Physics is an ancient science, whose origin lies in Greek philosophy. The name “Physics” also comes from Greek (φυσική θεωρα, physike theoria) which was coined by Aristotle and refers to the description and explanation of causes and relationships in nature. In this first paragraph we introduce physics as a modern experimental natural science, hoping to motivate you in studying physics.
