Galois Theory (I)—Theorem A and Its Variant A’

We start to develop Galois theory. In this chapter, we will learn about the concept of the splitting field of a polynomial. In addition, we prove two theorems about the existence of field homomorphisms or their extensions. We call these theorems Theorem A and Theorem A’. They will be the core of Galois theory.
