Spiritual Care und Mystik

Nach notwendigen Begriffsklärungen zur Spiritualität und speziell zur Mystik geht der Autor der Frage nach, warum die Beziehung zwischen Mystik und modernem Krankenhaus ein Problemfeld darstellt. Im Anschluss daran wird die Mystik am Beispiel ihres Umgangs mit Krankheit und Sterben nach möglichen Potenzialen für Spiritual Care befragt. After the necessary definitions of spirituality and mysticism in particular, the author pursues the question of why the relationship between mysticism and the modern hospital represents a problem area. Following this, mysticism will be discussed with respect to possible potentials for spiritual care using the example of how it deals with illness and death.
