Spiritual Care – Lehren und Lernen für die berufliche Praxis: Kompetenzen und Praxismodelle

Im Fokus der hier vorgestellten Konzeption steht die berufliche Spiritual Care, für die alle Gesundheitsberufe Verantwortung zu tragen haben und dies nicht nur im Palliativ- und Hospizkontext. Im folgenden Artikel geht es vorrangig um die Fragen, welche Kompetenzen es für die Anwendung von Spiritual Care benötigt und welche Fähigkeiten dafür zu lehren und zu lernen sind. Ziel und Inhalt dieser Schulung sind konkrete Praxismodelle, die nicht nur für die Begegnung mit der psychischen und sozialen, sondern im Besonderen mit der existenziellen und spirituellen Dimension qualifizieren. Im Blick dieser Schulung dürfen nicht nur die Gesundheitsfachpersonen sein, die eine bewusst angeeignete Spiritualität mitbringen, sondern auch die, die keine reflektierte spirituelle oder religiöse Ausrichtung haben und die doch spirituelle Begleitung verantwortlich praktizieren können sollen. The focus of the concept presented here is set on professional spiritual care, which is the task of all health professions – and not just in the palliative care and hospice context. The following article will focus on the questions of which competencies are required for the application of spiritual care and which skills have to be taught and learned for this. The aim and content of this training are concrete practice models that qualify not only for encountering psychological and social dimensions, but in particular existential and spiritual dimensions. This training course should not only focus on professional healthcare workers who already have a consciously acquired spirituality, but also on those who have no reflected spiritual or religious orientation and who should nevertheless be able to practice spiritual accompaniment in a responsible manner
