Clinical Aspects of Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, and Avoidant-Restrictive Food Intake Disorder in Adulthood
摘要
A clear diagnosis is a prerequisite for the development of a treatment plan. It is important to know the classificatory criteria of anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa and to identify subtypes of the disorders. Compensatory behaviors go beyond restrictive eating and purging in most cases and are predominantly expressed only upon targeted inquiry. This nevertheless typical disorder behavior is often not in the foreground and is mentioned by patients with reluctance due to shame.
