Treatment of Eating Disorders in Childhood and Adolescence
摘要
In this chapter, the essential components of treatment for eating disorders, particularly anorexia nervosa, are described. The treatment of avoidant-restrictive eating disorders is discussed elsewhere (chapter). The reader is informed about somatic treatment and nutritional therapy, essential principles of individual psychotherapy in childhood and adolescence, possibilities of group therapy and psychoeducation for patients and parents, family-based treatment forms, and the treatment of comorbidity. The pharmacological treatment of eating disorders is discussed, and the need for osteoporosis prevention with the help of hormone substitution is described. The special conditions of inpatient treatment for children and adolescents are presented.
