Deutsch als ‚Sprachheimat‘ im Exil?
摘要
– This article explores the role of the German language for Jewish writers in exile. On the one hand, German was the language of the perpetrators, who pursued the exclusion of Jewish life from language and culture; on the other hand, in exile, the idea and a literary connotation of the German language as a ‘Heimat’ substitute arose. Viewing Hilde Domin and Mascha Kaléko as examples, the article shows literary concepts of ‘Sprachheimat’ in exile.
