Distribution Models and Functions
摘要
This chapter outlines important distribution models that are used in reliability and risk analysis. First, an introduction to the general principles of a distribution model is given in Sect. 7.1, followed by an explanation of important continuous distribution models (Sect. 7.2) and test distributions (Sect. 7.3). Subsequently, Sect. 7.4 is focusing to discrete distribution models. Section 7.5 focuses on the saturation function, which can be used in the analysis of complex damage events. Section 7.6 concludes with an overview of mixed distribution models.
