The Backside of the Mask: Anonymity

Reading concrete masks is a good way to refer to the outside of the subject behind it, or to the hard, stable quality of the sign itself. The back of the mask, the third layer after the surface and the mask itself, is less suitable for this, since it is about the concealing effect that every mask exerts to a certain extent; the masks treated so far even to a high degree. The joke is that we can’t see anything, so there’s not much to read.
