Gas/Solid Systems

The following provides a condensed overview of those gas/solid systems that border the field of pneumatic conveying and are relevant for the description/calculation of specific manifestations of the operating or flow conditions that occur. Among other things, the flow around isolated individual particles, that of solid particles in bulk clouds, the flow of gas through bulk materials, the operating behavior of various fluidized bed systems, etc., are considered.
