Ark

This chapter provides a short meditation on the relationship between music and its institution, starting from first principles and exploring the constitution of the musical dispositive to arrive at an articulation of the critical project of the New Music scene. It ends by outlining the gradual stratification of this kind of critique, the slow process of its solidification until it finally becomes an institution unto itself.
