摘要

This text of Chap. 5 is part of a modular system with concrete, pragmatically applicable tools for culture change. Culture change here refers to the so-called non-technical part of change processes, i.e. a sustainable change of behavior and attitudes of the people within an organization. This chapter describes the third of four phases of a systematically supported culture change, the implementation. It shows how an integrated philosophy can be used in the implementation of a culture change project, which both persistently and stringently sets the direction and ensures the involvement of the broad employee base. Three approaches help with this: the “piggyback approach”, which integrates change programs—where possible—into existing initiatives, the implementation of prototypes to achieve examples of rapid success and learning experiences, before changes are rolled out on a large scale, and the development of symbolic actions, the visibility of which shows all stakeholders that the change has already begun. In addition, the chapter focuses on communication in change processes using a communication plan and a wide range of communication tools. The conducting of workshops in different facets, the contents and processes of which actively drive the culture change, is also part of the chapter.
