Eye and Orbit
摘要
An important area of radiological imaging of medical foreign bodies in the head involves the eye and the orbit. This article first presents the anatomy of the mentioned structures and then illuminates the radiological examination techniques. Ophthalmological foreign bodies that can be visualized in imaging are buckles, cerclages, intraocular artificial lenses, and orbital implants. Finally, accident-related intraocular and orbital foreign bodies and their representation in diagnostic imaging are shown.
