Traumatic Foreign Bodies
摘要
Traumatic foreign bodies include impalement, perforation, explosion, gunshot, and stab injuries with foreign materials remaining in the body. The diagnostic approach must be adapted to the individual situation in the case of traumatic foreign bodies. This chapter presents the radiological diagnosis of various foreign body penetrations and perforations using numerous X-ray images and computed tomographies. Imaging for injuries caused by fireworks, hunting accidents, and needlestick injuries is presented.
