The following chapter provides a detailed account of the methodological approach employed in this thesis, beginning with an explanation of the underlying methodological framework that informs the research process. This section establishes the theoretical and epistemological basis guiding the study, justifying the use of a qualitative research design for addressing the research objectives. Following this, a comprehensive overview of the qualitative research project is presented, including a discussion of the research design, which encompasses the rationale for choosing qualitative methods, and the structure of the empirical work.
