Some Controversial Questions
摘要
The question of the reasons for ecological practice, that has been constantly present in the ecological political discussions of the last four decades, seems to reveal some problematic conceptual foundations of many anthropocentric and biocentric mainstream approaches. Formulated by Morandé as “why does surviving matter?”, the question can also be rephrased in the particular form of “why does it matter for certain situated agents in the field, to the point of moving them in practice?”.
