The first chapter of this dissertation justifies the need for research into swift trust and correlating trust dynamics. Starting with an initial position, the relevance of the niche phenomenon swift trust in temporary organizations is explained. With the current situation of evolving trust in today’s flexible organizational structures, the complexity of the concept continuously increases—influenced by technology or hybrid work arrangements.
