This study assesses stakeholders' influence on higher education policy in the knowledge economy. The significance of stakeholders' influence in developing higher education policy is twofold. Firstly, stakeholders are duly authorised representatives of groups and are granted the permission from members of specific groups to advocate on their behalf to policymakers (Vukasovic, 2017).
