The European Union’s Neighborhood Policy, particularly through the Eastern Partnership (EaP), encompasses six former Soviet states: Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus, Armenia, Georgia, and Azerbaijan. Each of these countries continues to grapple with the enduring legacy of the Soviet era, which poses significant challenges to their European integration processes.
