This chapter introduces the conceptual model that forms the core of the entire book, explaining the role of the model’s nine components, the layers of analysis, the development levels, the sorting, the systemic hierarchies, and the logical relationships. Finally, a “dynamic” perspective of the model—that is, the logical/chronological sequence of the analysis layers during an FMEA—is presented.

摘要

This chapter introduces the conceptual model that forms the core of the entire book, explaining the role of the model’s nine components, the layers of analysis, the development levels, the sorting, the systemic hierarchies, and the logical relationships. Finally, a “dynamic” perspective of the model—that is, the logical/chronological sequence of the analysis layers during an FMEA—is presented.
