This research delved into the broadening notion and practice of diplomacy, focusing particularly on tech diplomacy, a novel diplomatic experimental practice involving new modes of states’ interactions with private intermediaries in innovation hubs. Modern diplomacy has indeed evolved significantly, encompassing not only the traditional means states use to manage relations among themselves and with other actors but also the innovative strategies necessitated by the rapid advancements in Internet and new technologies.
