The article – after an introduction of the authors Werner Früh and Klaus Schönbach – refers to the development of the dynamic-transactional approach (abbreviated as DTA in the following) based on the key work mentioned in the title, presents central characteristics and discusses the effects in the field. In addition, the transfer of the DTA’s way of thinking to new communication contexts documents its current applicability.
