During the Covid pandemic, a peculiar social phenomenon emerged: in all European societies, significant parts of the population refused to implement any health-related behaviour, such as social distancing, mask wearing and, of course, getting vaccinations. By analyzing data from Eurobarometer, I will try to understand what the size of the Anti-vax phenomenon is and what are a few possible causes of this social phenomenon.

During the Covid pandemic, a peculiar social phenomenon emerged: in all European societies, significant parts of the population refused to implement any health-related behaviour, such as social distancing, mask wearing and, of course, getting vaccinations. By analyzing data from Eurobarometer, I will try to understand what the size of the Anti-vax phenomenon is and what are a few possible causes of this social phenomenon.
