This chapter presents the results of research in the area of knowledge- and expertise sharing relevant to this thesis from the perspective of CSCW and other relevant research directions. In addition, the current state of the art of supporting knowledge management with the help of new technologies is discussed. Specifically, CPS and AR technologies are examined in further detail.
