Case Study II: Long Room of the Old Library in Dublin
摘要
This chapter focuses on the Long Room of the Old Library in Dublin as the phenomenon to be examined. The (key) data relevant to this study are outlined: First, the context of its creation and the history of the architecture are explained, followed by a presentation of the library management’s vision. Analogous to the presentation of results in the Stuttgart City Library and the accompanying explanations, the following subsections unfold the various methodological approaches in the Long Room of the Old Library in Dublin. The initial focus is on self-observation and corporeal sensing. The subsequent sections present external observation and the results of the drawings and interviews.
