While the first part of this work provided the theoretical and empirical groundwork for a corporeal-phenomenological approach to the sociology of architecture, the second part is dedicated to the implementation and presentation of the results of the empirical study. This study was conducted in two libraries: the Old Library of Trinity College Dublin and the City Library at Mailänder Platz in Stuttgart. The methodological approach combined observations (both participant and self-observations), interviews, and drawings. The empirical study focuses on embodied architectural experiences and the sociological, phenomenological relationship between humans and architecture as resonance and process of correspondence, as well as a mode of perception in embodied communication. In addition to the sensory and embodied dimensions, the study also considers affective, pathic, and semi-objective forms of relationality. The initial focus is placed on the Stuttgart City Library at Mailänder Platz.

摘要
