Theory and Methodology
摘要
The main objective of the present work is to make a theoretical and empirical contribution to an architecture sociology oriented towards corporeal-phenomenological approaches. Ideally, this may also provide impulses in the fields of body sociology and qualitative social research. For a consistently situated corporeal-phenomenological-sociological architectural research touches upon various disciplinary fields and entails consequences for social science research approaches. In the theory and methodology section, various sociological, philosophical, and anthropological theoretical strands are outlined that can serve as a foundation for a corporeal-phenomenological-oriented architecture sociology. Building on these theoretical lines, a theoretical and methodological reading is developed that integratively considers the sensing and feeling “felt-body” (Schmitz) and the directedness of the ray of vision (Plessner).
