The paper focuses on the status of Bosnian as a heritage language in Austria, Germany and Sweden. It gives a brief history and regulations of Bosnian as a heritage language. It also provides a comparative analysis of these three systems by examining the disadvantages inherent to each system in all three countries. Structures and aims of teaching and learning Bosnian as well as teaching stuff and materials are taken into consideration. The paper discusses also the definition of heritage speakers as well the factors that influence the preservation of heritage languages.

摘要
