Both the information and accessibility options provided by counseling centers, as well as the challenges clients face in accessing and utilizing these services, are important factors. This article begins by outlining different access routes to counseling in Germany and their contexts. It then examines counseling practices, with a particular focus on developing sustainable therapeutic relationships. Additionally, this article explores the factors related to both the counseling center and the clients that are crucial for effectively reaching the target group, including what contributes to success, as well as potential causes of failure. It also addresses the challenges and risks associated with accessing clients. Finally, the article highlights the potential risks of stigmatization that can arise from entry strategies in the context of case management.
