Digitalization is causing disruption worldwide and across political and cultural boundaries in a wide range of social and economic sectors. These transformations have an impact at all societally relevant levels. In this contribution, after identifying key values relevant to this phenomenon, examples are provided to illustrate which questions need to be addressed at the supra, macro, meso, and micro levels in order to meaningfully shape the framework of digitalization.
