Cultures of Trust and Mistrust
摘要
Organizational culture plays a central role in establishing trust as a collective phenomenon within organizations. In this context, it is indeed justified to speak of a culture of trust. Such a culture of trust enables effective spontaneous self-coordination among employees. Self-coordination is an organizational integration mechanism that is becoming increasingly important in modern organizational forms. Therefore, if the aim is to reduce hierarchy and procedural guidelines, a culture of trust serves as a supportive informal framework. Developing such a culture requires a sensitive and reflective approach to organizational control mechanisms. The latter have a significant symbolic impact on trust within organizations.
