This article summarizes the need for specific qualification measures for individuals working in sports pedagogy within the context of Sport for Development programs (SfD). The necessary prerequisites for pedagogical expertise and action in sports within a migration society are presented. Based on insights from the project practice of the step foundation and accompanying scientific research, a qualification concept was developed that led to the continuing education program Sports Coach for Integration and Diversity. The article focuses on the design and transfer of this program into practice.
