Which factors shape perceptions of electoral integrity among German citizens? To answer the first research question posed in this part of the thesis, the last chapter deducted several hypotheses on individual-level determinants. To test these hypotheses in the subsequent analysis, the present chapter outlines the research design and operationalization of relevant concepts.
