When we look at the incredible momentum with which artificial intelligence has developed in recent years, we must assume that we are currently only witnessing the very beginnings of this development. Therefore, especially with regard to the next three or four years, it is extremely difficult to estimate how artificial intelligence will influence coaching in particular. If we start from the – rather unrealistic – assumption that the current development will continue linearly, we must expect that AI, with its various technical and coaching-conceptual variants, will penetrate ever deeper into the coaching market – and also into the development of coaching theory. As with the previous development of coaching, the market will continue to diversify – and at an increasingly rapid pace.
