Artificial intelligence can be used for and within coaching in a variety of ways. One option that has recently gained increasing popularity is the use of non-coaching-specific chatbots, such as ChatGPT. This application requires giving the AI tasks or instructions to process. The quality of these prompts is crucial for the quality of the subsequent output. In principle, there are several approaches: single-loop prompts, which are aimed at conveying specific knowledge, and double-loop prompts, which also enable critical reflection. Finally, it is advisable not only to prompt intuitively, but also to use prompt repositories—that is, collections of pre-formulated prompts—or to work with prompt scripts, which offer conceptually grounded sequences of pre-formulated prompts.

Artificial intelligence can be used for and within coaching in a variety of ways. One option that has recently gained increasing popularity is the use of non-coaching-specific chatbots, such as ChatGPT. This application requires giving the AI tasks or instructions to process. Finally, it is advisable not only to prompt intuitively, but also to use prompt repositories—that is, collections of pre-formulated prompts—or to work with prompt scripts, which offer conceptually grounded sequences of pre-formulated prompts.
