The DSSV, the Employers’ Association of German Fitness and Health Facilities, annually determines the number of existing fitness studios in Germany as well as “the key data […] on the current developments in the fitness and health sector regarding membership numbers, facility structures, and other industry indicators.” The association presents the development of stationary fitness studios in recent years in numerical terms.
