The article presents selected results of a qualitative study on crime prevention in the context of extended family structures. First, the causes of criminal behavior in the affected group of people are examined. Following this, potential prevention approaches that may contribute to the prevention or reduction of crime are presented. Finally, the challenges and opportunities of current and future prevention efforts in the context of the phenomenon are discussed.
