These individuals function as crucial intermediaries, adept at fostering constructive engagement and emphasizing the importance of collaborative efforts between family networks and state actors. Their involvement is vital in facilitating sustainable solutions to conflict, encouraging compliance with the rule of law, and contributing to crime prevention. The chapter focuses specifically on members of these extended families who are not involved in any form of criminal activity and who voluntarily take on the role of bridge builders.
