The So-Called Clan Crime in Migration and Security Policy Discourse
摘要
The so-called clan crime is playing an increasingly important role in the political discourse of the German public, and calls for a strong, assertive state are growing louder. In 2022, Federal Interior Minister Nancy Faeser declared “clan crime” to be one of her focal points. In the public debate, more and more legal tightening is being demanded. The examples range from harsher penalties for “clan members” to deportations and child removal. The German citizenship of many people is also once again up for discussion. The withdrawal of citizenship from “criminal clan members” or “clans” in general is increasingly being demanded by actors on the political right.
