The presented resilience-model takes up recent findings in economic history and puts the particular aspects into context. On the one hand, the model shows that internal and external disturbances need very different strategies and handling. It shows on the other hand that this leads to different results. Due to preventive or reactive measures, businesses can either ensure or restore robustness, but due to change or transformation, businesses can be resilient as well.
