We established that pension systems suffer from such a puzzle of complexity that one must be able to look at the current landscape through both a magnifying glass on one eye and on the other a telescope to ensure that the mitigation of risk currently done by the systems can be transformed into an efficient landscape to the benefit of all within the system. It is important to note in the development of such a new system the system will always fall to the behest of regulatory requirements for the components within. Therefore, part of the focus on the system will be on creating one that is flexible and able to adjust in a manner befitting future regulation while continuing to ensure a critical role in ensuring financial security and societal welfare. The further focus will be the creation of a solution within a DC plan, as the primary and tertiary pillars are either in retrograde or growing at a much smaller pace in comparison the DC plans within the second pillar resulting in gaps of transparency, accessibility, and ease of understanding.
