Topics and Methods of Financial Coaching
摘要
The integration of financial psychology and coaching into educational offerings promotes sustainable behavior changes. This is demonstrated by the study “Sentimental Saving” by Klontz et al. (2019), which shows a significant increase in the propensity to save and financial satisfaction through corresponding interventions. Diagnostics are crucial to identify individual needs and enable professional interventions. The measurement of risk tolerance and the consideration of the psychodynamic effect of projections on money enable a sound financial coaching. Structured coaching interventions provide a solid approach to promote long-term behavior changes and close the gap between financial goals and actual actions.
