The scientific perspective attempts to identify phenomena in social reality, to capture, understand, and provide explanatory approaches for conditions of origin and contexts using appropriate methods. The preceding chapters have shown that the question of a more open, digital—participatory co-determination is embedded in complex organizational and institutional (societal) conditions. Added to this is the influence of individual orientations of the actors in the works councils.
