To wrap up our book on Reputation Management and Crisis Communication, written from the perspective of a practitioner and rich in real-life examples, the following worst-case study is the story of a terrible mid-air collision that happened over Lake Constance in Southern Germany on July 1, 2002, on a clear summer night and in empty skies. To this day, it remains the worst aviation accident in German airspace ever.
